About Daija

I am attending Community College for my bachelors in Child Development that way I am able to work within families home as a Behavioral Therapist or Guidance Counselor. I am also a licensed Massage Therapist & Health Educator with a certification in Pre/Postnatal Massage with plans to become a certified Birth Doula. In the meantime, being that extra helping hand with homework, structuring activities, running errands, meal preparations, drop offs & overall care, would be a rewarding opportunity! I've been a professional nanny for the past 7+ years! Learning ways of communicating through questions rather than demands, connecting before correcting, being kind yet fair, chill-out spot/ deep breathing rather than "time-out", and positive reinforcements with no need for traditional punishments are just a few ways I love to nurture! I've always been told "It takes a village to raise a single child"
