About Daija

My name is Daija (like Deja vu). I'm a Berkeley native with 7+ of childcare experience. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Public Health and plan to attend dental school. I am the Kids Club Manager at a luxury gym, caring for children of all ages in a safe and fun environment. I've been seriously nannying since 2023 and have worked with many wonderful families. I have experience with all ages and those with high-functioning autism. I'm known for being reliable, calm, and nurturing. I love planning enriching activities. Some of my favorite outings with kids include visiting the Oakland Zoo, Fairyland, Tilden Little Farm, the Lawrence Hall of Science, or just heading to a local park for some fresh air. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, imaginative play, science experiments, and helping with homework-especially math! Whether you need regular help, occasional babysitting, or support for special outings, I bring patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children!
