Hello, I am looking for a wonderful family to help care for their little one! I am 26 years old and I've grown up taking care of children. I love caring for little ones and helping them reach their milestones both physically and educationally. I have four younger sibling who I grew up caring for along with multiple family friends children. I currently have 6 years experience working with kids from birth to 13-year-old including working at a learning center & private preschool. Most recently I worked with a family including a 1 yr old and newborn twins, I have loved working with this family but unfortunately they are moving out of state. I do have my own transportation and am able to be flexible to cater to your family's child care needs. I have a resume and references from past families if you would like copies of both. We did a trial period with Dahlia and decided not to hire her long term. She is a great nanny and did really well with my newborn and I know she will continue to succeed in this profession. I wish her well and do recommend her for her child care skills. However, she showed up to work sick without giving us a courtesy call ahead of time. Her intentions were in the right place, she said she would wear a mask etc, but we ultimately felt with a newborn that she needed to give us the option to make these decisions, not assume that we would be OK with her showing up. We explained that this was the reason we would not hire her long term, but that we hoped she would take this lesson moving forward with her future employers and communicate better. If you are willing to have an upfront conversation with Dahlia about your level of comfort with sick days and what to do when that happens, then I know you will have a good nanny with her.
