About Cynthia

Hello parents! I am passionate about learning and have been a full-time teacher and tutor for the past 4 years. My specialty is English and Math. I have worked with over 300 students in both online and in-person tutoring. My "secret sauce" is being extremely professional, patient, and encouraging. Most parents turn to me after their students have been with other tutors and are pleased to see that I work diligently to help students have small "wins" quickly to help build their confidence. I also am quick to praise and reward both effort and results. I also pay attention to detail and make sure the student understands the "why" behind the answer and not just the correct answer. I give prompt feedback to parents. I have a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University and a M Ed. Learning and Technology from WGU. I also have over 10 years experience as a corporate trainer. I'm certified to teach high school business so I have a very diverse background to help your students
