I sincerely believe the greatest gifts in life are children. Caring for them, as a nanny, for over 20 years brings joy to my heart and soul. My childcare experiences started at a young age, with my nieces and nephews. I enjoyed caring for them, teaching them, and nurturing their growth. My professional knowledge of child development evolved while working with the children from the Boys and Girls Club, in Chicago. Since that time, I have gained vast experience while being a nanny for many children, ranging from babies to teenagers. Personally, the most rewarding part of being a nanny is being an integral part of a child emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. I enjoy guiding and nurturing them emotionally. I take pride in teaching them with age appropriate modalities. I like to promote their physical growth by making them healthy meals and keeping them active. I also love to spend time with them outdoors at the park and exploring the environment.

She has cared for our son since he was 9 months old, and she has been everything we could have hoped for. She is reliable, always on time, flexible, and genuinely loving. She has never called off and has always been accommodating to our unpredictable schedules as two healthcare professionals. Cynthia is Montessori certified, and she has been so intentional about helping our son learn and grow. She uses flashcards, teaches him new words and skills, and even speaks Spanish with him, which we have truly appreciated. She also helped us with sleep training. While sleep training is completely optional, her guidance completely changed our nights and made such a positive difference for our family. She also goes above and beyond by helping with light housekeeping and keeping things tidy, which has been a huge help with our busy schedules. Most importantly, our son absolutely loves her, and it is obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for him. We have always felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care. We recommend Cynthia without hesitation to any family looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced nanny. Any family would be lucky to have her, and we will truly miss her.
