I have been a family care giver for over 30 years and I have recently had 2 non family member patients. I am comfortable and skilled in all aspects of personal care including bathing and dressing the patient as well as helping with using a bed pan and/or diapers if needed. I have experience with caring for dementia patients. I am willing to do light house keeping and meal preparation. I have had two patients who were clients of the Hospice program and I am comfortable and skilled with end of life care. Most of the ones that I cared for in this manner have been family members but one was a non family member so I had to work closely with Hospice as well as her family. I am comfortable with pets and will take patients who are smokers.

Cindy became a part of our family while caring for our loved one during her last few months of life. She was loving and caring and helped us get through this difficult time knowing she was always there for us. She worked well with our hospice team as well when we couldn't always be there.
