About Crystal

I am currently working full time Monday through Friday 7:30 am- 4:30 p.m. as the lead teacher in the toddler classroom at The Village Child Development Center in DTC. I have an upbeat, silly personality and always full of energy. My past experience in the child care field range from nanny, preschool/toddler teacher and babysitter. I have worked with children of all ages, some as young as 3 months to 12 years of age. Even though I may be a full-time teacher, I certainly am willing to babysit weeknights and weekends whenever my schedule will allow it. As a preschool/toddler teacher, I am given the chance to work with as many as 10 children at one time. I know kids can sure be a handful at times but with patience, a good attitude and a happy smile anything can be accomplished. I love doing all sorts of activities may it be physical, mental, or even emotional. I played volleyball in high school and recently just played for a volleyball league. I play tennis as well. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and consider myself quite the chef. I am currently attending The Art Institute of Colorado to earn a degree in the culinary arts. Nothing beats a good meal to fill an empty belly! In the future, I aspire to be a kindergarten teacher or to operate and own my own restaurant or catering business. Children have such innocence, their fun filled and carefree lives allow their creative and imaginative skills to shine through and take them places unknown. Kids are my passion and I can't wait to get to know yours.
