Hello! My name is Cristen. I am from a small town in Ohio. I moved to Florida about 5 years ago. I enjoy the many outdoor activities that living here provides including swimming, bike riding, and hiking. I am currently studying Psychology. In my academic career, I have received multiple recognitions for academic excellence, such as presidents and dean lists. I have always had a desire to work with kids, and have spent some time in the education field. I have volunteered in local elementary and preschools, taught Sunday school classes, and worked as a Paraprofessional with special needs for a total of 8 years. Learning is my hobby but teaching is my passion! I love to see children succeed in their goals. I am very hands-on and enjoy making learning as interactive and personal as possible. The academic growth of my students is of utmost importance!

Incredible is an understatement. Within 10 days of working with Cristen my 3YO is writing, drawing shapes, and has gained more dexterity in both hands. Cristen is punctual, flexible, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She goes with the flow of what your child needs and reinforces good behavior. Don't consider working with her, just hire her!
