Experience: 13 yrs
Hey family , With over 13 years experience I know I would be the best fit for this position. I have experience in daycare facilities/ private nannying /family assistant and last but not least housekeeping. Working with children ages infancy all the way to pre teens . Infants (0-12 Months)Loving, patient caregiver experienced with feeding, diapering, nap schedules, soothing, and supporting developmental milestones in a safe and nurturing environment. Toddlers (1-3 Years) Engaging and energetic nanny who encourages learning, independence, language development, and positive routines through play and exploration. Preschoolers (3-5 Years) Creative caregiver who promotes school readiness, social skills, confidence, and learning through fun educational activities and structured play. School-Age Children (6-12 Years)Supportive mentor who assists with homework, encourages responsibility, builds confidence, and creates enriching after-school activities. I'm available for full time/part time
I would not recommend this caregiver based on my experience. Before beginning the position, she agreed to a trial period and confirmed she was not working with or trialing with any other families. In the middle of the night before her next scheduled day, she canceled, stating that she had accepted a trial with another family instead. During the limited time she was with my infant, she struggled to soothe or settle my baby despite having two detailed phone conversations beforehand about our routines, expectations, and my daughter's temperament. I spent much of her shift coaching her through basic soothing techniques and was ultimately unable to leave the house because my baby remained distressed and required my support. After ending the trial, she repeatedly messaged me demanding payment for the few hours she had worked. While I fully believe caregivers should be compensated for their time, the volume and tone of the messages felt excessive and unprofessional. When hiring someone to care for your child, trust, reliability, honesty, and professionalism are essential. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those qualities, and I would not hire or recommend her to other families.
