About Courtney

I have loved working with kids since I was a kid. I have cousins who are 7 and 9 years younger than me and once they were born I wanted to be able to babysit for them. When I turned 12 was old enough to take the babysitting course our local rec department offered and after that I took every opportunity to babysit. I started by watching my Mother's trainer's children during her classes and later started sitting for a family my mother worked with. I sat for that family for 8 years. Additionally, I have sat for other families with my experience ranging from 1 to 4 children some of whom have had special needs. I have stayed with the children who I have sat for anywhere from a few hours to a few days when parents were out of town.
