About Courtney

I like working with kids because they are incredibly unique and intelligent. We don't give kids enough credit! They are exceptional humans and it's important to have someone that cares for them to guide them in a direction that best fits them. They are brutally honest, comedians, sweethearts, and bright lights all at the same time. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself! I knew when I was in elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher and that's exactly what I did. My first teaching job was at the school I attended as a kid so it's always been a root area for me! Kids are the thing the world needs and they all have so much to offer. Their safety, thoughts, comfort, and love are all incredibly important in their development and personalities. They are our future and they deserve the best. I earned my Elementary Education degree from Appalachian State University and I am currently a 3rd grade teacher!
