About Courtney

I have been in childcare since I was 13. I've done everything from camp counselor, ice skating instructor, teacher, full time nanny, international volunteer work and more. I taught 3rd grade in Chicago during COVID and then moved to Hawaii and worked for the DOE for two years there. I worked under the SPED department training teachers and parents on the process of getting their students the assistance they need, to get the education they deserve. I decided to go back for my masters degree which has led me back to nannying! I absolutely loved nannying during my undergraduate and became close with the families I worked with, maintaining relationships with them to this day. I love working with children and getting to be a part of helping them grow and learn. I prefer the outdoors but would never turn down a rainy indoor craft and game day. I full heartedly believe education should be fun and curated to each individual child in order to help them fall in love with it!
