About Courtney

I have been babysitting for kids in my neighborhood since I was 14 years-old. I have 4 years experience working as an assistant teacher with kids ages 2 to 6 years-old. I've also volunteered at the Handwork Studio as well as Main Line Art Center's summer camp. At those camps, I worked with kids from 5 years-old through 12 years-old. I loved helping kids express their creativity through art. I love being active, I used to be on the Lower Merion Girls Varsity ice hockey team throughout middle school and into early high school, and I loved it. I love to encourage kids to get active and moving, rather than staying glued to their electronics inside. I think it's extremely important for kids to experience nature and the outdoors. My favorite part about being a babysitter is getting to know the kids and experiencing their accomplishments with them.
