About Courtney

Hello! My name is Courtney and I am a Special Education Kindergarten teacher. Throughout my 7 years of teaching, I've supported all elementary aged students. As a seasoned educator who values fun in learning, I strive to create learning experiences through games and exploration that speak to their unique needs while fostering a fun learning experience. Personally, I enjoy being outdoors and active. I'm proud to say that I have more than enough energy to keep up with the little ones! I am CPR certified and have a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in behavioral disorders. Through my graduate studies at Hunter College, I've learned various strategies to support children in developing positive habits and teaching them skills for understanding their emotions.
