About Courtney
Experience: 7 yrs
When I was 12 years old, my mother began an in-home daycare service. I helped her out with this, and was exposed to caring for multiple children until I went away to college at the University of Minnesota. I have completed two years there and am now going to UNM and hopefully Medical School once I get my undergraduate degree! I have worked with children of all ages (and cultures), but am most experienced in working with infants and toddlers. I absolutely love nurturing babies and watching them reach their monthly milestones. As far as toddlers and young children, I really enjoy doing crafts, and music and theater have always been a big part of my life. I also enjoy board games and reading to children! My favorite things to do outside are go on walks with my dogs, and going hiking in the Sandia Mountains when I get a chance. Thanks for reading and I hope I can be exactly what you're looking for!

Courtney has been nothing short of a blessing for our family. I need a sitter due to my sons reactive airway disease, can't have him in a regular daycare.... I had lots of worries using care.com as I never used an online site, and hiring someone that I completely did not know... I made a list of all my many concerns and questions and how she may handle possible future situations... I was really worried because i see a ton of horrible stories where childcare workers treat children horribly. So I started researching and really just kept the faith that we would find someone safe and good. She had tons of patience with me, and took time really listening and interacting with each of them... I was nervous the first day, but when I came home, the kids couldn't stop telling me the great time they had with her. My parenting style has always been honored, respected, and put first. She has tons of energy, she has a great attitude, and she's very attentive to this day. Not just in the beginning like many are with a new job.... My kids love her. I know any family she comes across will be grateful.
