About Cortney

To give context, I'll start by saying I'm a first-time mom and had a profound amount of guilt and anxiety about going back to work full-time. I knew that finding a nanny that would meet my son's emotional needs was my first priority and at the forefront that felt that like an impossible feat. To my surprise, Cortney surpassed that in the time we had her. She came in when my son was three months old and they clicked instantly. To say she is gifted is an understatement; she has a God given gift with children that is rare and is so valuable. That coupled with her work ethic makes her a blessing that is hard to define or measure. I work from home and having her here with my son made me feel a sincere peace. She is one of the few people I trust with him and he recognizes her as one of his three caregivers (mom, dad and Cortney aka Nana) and loves her unconditionally. We recognize that the first few years of our son's life are imperative in his growth and are shaping. I can't repay Cortney for the amount of love and care she gave E. She is sincerely part of our family and has left a mark on our hearts and E will continue to be reminded of her as she continues on her journey in Virginia. Cortney is punctual, sweet, patient, strong and has an upbeat energy. She isn't the nanny that will give your baby a tablet or will have them hooked on TV. She maintains an upbeat learning environment filled with music, books and motor development. If you're looking in investing in your child to be happy and loved, don't look any further. We're so sad she's moving, but our prayer is she finds a family to join that recognizes her value. We are happy to give references and discuss more.
