About Corie

Hello! My name is Corie. I am an experienced teacher and mom of two. I started working with kids when I was in college. I worked at an on campus childcare center for a year, and then again worked in childcare after college until I got my first 9 to 5 job. I attended graduate school to be a teacher after not liking sitting at a desk all day. I taught elementary school for three years. After the birth of my first son I became a part time preschool teacher, and I have worked as a teacher in a 2-year-old classroom for the last five years. I'd describe my personality as creative, nurturing, and genuine. I like working with kids because they're hilarious, pure, and loving. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, go to the beach, needlepoint, decorate my home, and craft. I love iced coffee, trying new restaurants, and browsing Home Goods.
