About Corie

I am an elementary school counselor and adoption social worker. I have over 20 years of experience caring for children, 3+ years as a nanny, babysitting for countless families, working at a daycare with infants- 5, mentoring, tutoring & transporting foster children from 0-17 years of age, interviewing and assessing foster & adoptive families. I especially enjoy caring for children with disabilities and special needs, as it is very close to my heart. (My nephew had a rare brain disorder, kidney disease, was blind, and other medical conditions.) I am trained in these areas and continue to seek educational opportunities on anything involving childcare. I am a certified CPR/AED & First Aid Instructor & Social Worker. I am loving and affectionate towards families & children. Others say I have a happy-go-lucky personality and a good sense of humor.
