Among the adults and children I have cared for, I acquired specialized skills for the following disabilities: * Quadriplegic man (two years live in care) * Trained behavioral aid for an autistic child (two years live in nanny) * Seniors with dementia * Care for severely multiple handicapped children both in a private home, as well as for both Placer and Nevada County school districts. I have training to use a Hoyer lift, tube feeding, and COPD care. I am comfortable with bathing and changing adult diapers. I am a certified massage therapist and can incorporate massage and other healing modalities such as joint mobilization and muscle strengthening. I can also help out with other duties, such as: housecleaning, pet care, household organizing and laundry.

Corie is a very caring person. She was always on time and very dependable. Corie helped with the care for my mother. She helped with meals, the administration of medicine and taking my mom on car rides. Corie would still be working for us if my mother had not passed away.
