Thanks for visiting my profile! I am a nanny-educator, well versed in the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies of early childhood education. While I set very clear boundaries, my approach relies heavily on imaginative play, project-based learning and dynamic art exploration. I recently relocated to Richmond but grew up in Charlottesville, VA where I worked with multiples in the infant stage to two years as an educator in the preschool classroom. I also facilitated their all-school-arts program and mixed age after school program. I have also worked as an Au pair in Madrid, Spain (speak some Spanish). I have an eclectic background in the arts (ceramics, mixed media sculpture, photography, and painting) and am very athletic with years of experience on a soccer team, as well as some gymnastics skills, swimming, basketball, rock climbing, dance and yoga. My ideal nanny situation would be date night or part time position in Richmond. References and resume available upon request.
