About Cora

I like working with kids because I know that I am taking care of a future generation, providing support and love not only for them but for their parents or guardian. I also know that life can pose challenges and children especially need extra care and help with transitions through life. I am a full time college student at TCC southeast campus, so I rarely get out, but when I do I enjoy writing and reading. I am pursuing an English degree and plan to teach high school literature. One thing you should know about me is I do have four classes at college throughout the week, but try to maintain a strict schedule personally. My skills include listening, to children especially cannot always communicate how we, the adults, want them too, but I have experience with children who have difficulty communicating and understanding. I also am very personally, I enjoy connecting with children and kids to understand how they see the world, and how I can positively influence them where they are at.
