I believe in going the extra mile for all clients and treating them like family. I'm a compassionate and experienced, CNA-certified caregiver who is reliable and has excellent references. I take direction easily but am also proactive and self directed when it comes to taking of those I work with. Aside from caring companionship, I am happy to assist with bathing, dressing, light housekeeping and laundry, transportation for doctor's appointments and errands. I have worked well with individuals with dementia/advanced Alzheimer's and strokes. Comfortable wearing a mask. I also have advanced experience with medication administration, tube feeding, patient transfers and hoyer lifts.

Our family cannot speak highly enough of Connie, We struck gold when we found her on Care.com. She lovingly cared for our dad for more more than a year. Even though he suffered from advanced Alzheimer's and was completely nonverbal by the end, she always knew what he wanted and needed and worked hard to keep his mind and body active instead of letting him just sit and sleep by the TV. She talked with him all the time, played games with him and took him out to the park or the mall with his walker or wheelchair. She was also respectful and got along well with our mom, who could sometimes be demanding. Even during our dad's final decline when he could no longer walk or stand, she used a Hoyer lift to transfer him from his bed to his recliner, tube fed him and scrupulously looked after his hygiene. She set a bathing and laundry schedule for him and proved to be reliable and trustworthy even when no other family members were present. When our father finally passed a way a week ago, Connie grieved over him with the rest of us, after caring for him for more than a year. Had there been any way we could have kept her working with us, we would have done so. As a daughter who took a chance on her, I consider her one of the best hiring decisions I ever made. I recommend her without reservation.
