About Connor

I have roughly 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. At the University of Colorado Boulder, I worked as a math tutor for 2 years, and I helped with everything from pre-calculus, calculus, algebra, geometry, and beyond. I will be able to help students with any sort of math-heavy studies, including physics, economics, and even SAT/ACT test prep. While my experience is probably best for high school or college level students, I am good with younger students too, as I was a elementary school chess teacher for a year. As a tutor, I really try to build other skills in my students besides just getting them to pass a test, skills such as critical thinking, good study habits, creativity, and concise mathematical writing. Finally, while I have little music teaching experience, I have around 11 years of playing and performing music in a variety of styles including jazz, rock, classical, and funk, and I would be very willing to pick up either guitar or trumpet students.
