About Connie

I have not been employed in senior care before (except to fill in as companion/helper for a senior lady for 3 days during the absence of her regular helper). However, while my late husband was very ill with cancer (a little over one year ago), I took care of him at home and then helped care for him while he was in the hospital and in a care center. Previous to that, after teaching in schools for five years, I raised our three children and provided daycare for other children in my home for several years. I am currently in my third year as a substitute teacher in Municipal Schools (I was fingerprinted and background-checked for employment there). I am now seeking a regular, full-time job. Since I enjoy being with and helping people, I am exploring this option as well as others.
