Hello, my name is Colleen W. and I am now an empty-nester after being a stay-at-home mom and raising three wonderful children. My son deferred law school to join the Army, my oldest daughter has a master's in education and is a kindergarten teacher in San Antonio, and my youngest daughter is a kindergarten teacher in Plano. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I absolutely loved being a full-time mother and especially miss reading to my children--in fact, using Bob Books, I taught all three of them to read before kindergarten. I have two beautiful grandchildren in San Antonio and enjoy spending time with them on the weekends. I was a full-time nanny in Europe this summer for five weeks and last year I was a co-teacher at a private preschool in Austin. Colleen is compassionate, caring and professional in all of her endeavors. I have known her for over 30 years and during that time have witnessed her take care of not only her children but also her developmentally and physically challenged brother and aging parents. She is dependable and trustworthy. She has initiative while respecting boundaries and I would not hesitate to have her in my home.
