I have been a certified CNA for over eight years. I have extensive experience in Alzheimer's and Dementia. I am also a former EMT so I am knowledgeable in CPR and first aide care. I have experience in COPD using oxygen therapy, cardiac care, catheter care physical therapy exercises and bathroom and showering. I have also been certified to administer medication and knowing there side effects. I have done hospice care with my last two clients thru to end of life. I have a clean background check and driving record. I'm honest reliable and dependable, I have verifiable references available to state my work ethics and job performance. My biggest factor when caring for someone is to maintain there safety, integrity and independence! I'm a very outdoorsy person and I love animals! I have three dogs of my own, my most recent client just passed after 18 months of caring for him and I brought one of my dogs daily it truly helped on his bad days! I'm hoping to find another person whom I can help!

I have to second the review from Mark that states, stop your searching and hire Colleen immediately! Best decision I ever made for my dad. In the short time Colleen was employed with us to help care for my dad she became like family, someone we could truly rely on. Colleen is a very special person. I told her all the time she is an angel. Her level of compassion and empathy for others is just amazing. She went above and beyond her call of duty. Not only is she reliable, dependable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, she is there to support the entire family in any way. I had to call her many times with questions and she always answered or got back to me immediately. She also took care of our 6 dogs with the same amount of love and affection I give them. Colleen truly brightened my dad's days, made him happier and gave him a better quality of life! I always knew he was in the best hands with her, and never worried a moment. You will love her too!
