About Colleen

I am a mom to two adult children, and I am a certified public school teacher for children from Preschool to 8th grade. My specialties include early childhood, reading, and math. I have taught all subjects, and I have worked as a reading specialist for 6 years, taught 2nd grade for 3 years, taught 5th grade math for 3 years, and was a preschool teacher for 2 years. I also worked as a child advocate for Child Advocates, Inc. for 2 years. I have experience as a nanny for 5 families. My most recent jobs included working with young infants and toddlers. I have experience with twins, as well. I can cook, tutor, help with homework, and have fun with your children. With your child I will read, sing songs, go for walks, and play developmentally appropriate games/activities. I have always been passionate about children, and I love that I can continue to do work that is so fulfilling.
