About Colleen

I recently moved to the area from Oregon after raising my 4 children. I left behind a job I dearly loved as an educational assistant in an ABA autism program for children. I also taught private swim lessons out of my home for several years. I have volunteered in many capacities over my lifetime which included serving children of all ages. I have a passion for helping children learn, grow, and make lemonade out of life's lemons! I love to encourage and inspire children in their uniqueness and to experience their lives to the fullest with positivism and strength. I love to enter into their world of play and the outdoors. Reading is very fun and important to me. I believe in boundaries, mutual respect, and finding individualized approaches to let each child know that they are a one of a kind kid! I have experience and training with children of various abilities and challenges and am eager to learn what works best for them. Let's make lemonade!
