About Colleen

I'd describe my personality as caring, hardworking and reliable. I like caring for seniors because I love seniors! I love hearing their stories. I was very close to my grandparents. I'm looking for a job that allows me to give people the respect they deserve, to make their daily life easier and lets me express the heart I have seniors. I started caring for seniors when my grandma started getting dementia. I cared for my mom who passed away from cancer and then for my husband who had kidney failure and a multitude of other ailments. In my spare time, I like to travel, take pictures, cook, bake, craft and visit family. One thing you should know about me is I have a special place in my heart for seniors. I understand how the process of becoming a senior can feel. The loss of control, abilities, memories. I witnessed this in my grandparents, my mom and my husband. My skills include patience, empathy and understanding. I also love to cook, clean and help organize when needed.
