About Colleen

I recently just finished being the caregiver for an Alzheimer's patient for eight years, before the family had to move to Florida. I understand the importance of compassionate, trusting and reliable care. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and helpful. I focus on creating a comfortable environment for those I care for. I can help with daily routines including assistance with bathing and dressing, transportation to and from any appointments and any help needed during them. I have experience in medication management and meal preparation. I try to encourage independence were appropriate and I am skilled in de-escalating stressful situations. I can also run errands and do light housekeeping. I'm comfortable communicating with families and will follow their direction as to the care of their loved ones. The safety and security of anyone I care for is my number one priority. I would enjoy bringing my experience and dedication to your family.
