About Colleen

Hello! I am career educator, currently working as an Academic Dean at a public school in Nashville, TN. While much of my formal teaching experience has been at the elementary level, I have also taught middle school Spanish, English, and ELL courses. Additionally, I have worked with high schools on Spanish, English, social studies, and general test prep (ACT/SAT), as well as gifted elementary, middle, and high school students in areas of their interest. I have taught both English and Spanish classes to adults, so my experience runs the gamut! I graduated from Vanderbilt with a BA in 2011 (triple majoring in Spanish, Psychology, and Political Science). I finished my Masters of Public Policy (also at Vanderbilt, Peabody College) in 2012, and have also completed a Masters of Education. I am a lifelong learner, and look to inspire that in all of my students, whether in a classroom setting or one-on-one. Please contact me if you think we might be a good fit!
