About Colin

Hi families! I'm Colin, and I especially enjoy working with creative, imaginative kids and have also been a youth group leader and piano tutor, strengthening my patience, structure, and ability to encourage children in a positive, engaging way. I'm not a 'sit on the couch and scroll on my phone' type of sitter! I genuinely enjoy spending screen-free time with children through reading, pretend play, crafts, outdoor activities, games, and conversation. I provide attentive, compassionate care and adapt my approach to help every child feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. I also have experience with shy and neurodivergent children. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, fingerprint background checked, TB cleared, have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, and hold an SDSU engineering degree.
