About Colette

I am a responsible, caring, and attentive 22-year-old Columbia student who was born and raised on the UWS. Over the past 10 years, my childcare experience has taken the form of a babysitter, soccer coach, tutor, and camp counselor. I love working with kids not only because they are so fun, but because I value helping them discover more about the world and themselves! As a big sister to 2 brothers, being mature, patient, and wise is in my DNA. Because I was the oldest, I missed out on having that supportive older role model/caretaker, which has only given me a greater affinity for being that person for other kids. When it comes to babysitting, I am more than willing to help with homework, projects, crafts, snacks, and light housework; additionally, I am CPR and Epi-Pen trained, and know basic first aid. As a native New Yorker, I love going on adventures all over the city; growing up, I was a soccer player, so I love running around and playing sports, too.
