Hello! I'm Marie from Yorktown. I believe animals are people too! There has NEVER been a time in my life when I didn't share my life and home with dogs and cats (and a variety of other critters). Sorry, NO snakes or spiders please! When I sit for your babies, I care for them the way I want someone to care for my own babies. I began professionally pet-sitting for coworkers when I started my first FT job at the age of 18. It PAINS me to say this, but I am now a youthful, energetic 60-year-old (OUCH - that DID hurt)! I am mature, reliable, patient & will provide all the references you want. For many years I did cat rescue. I have three passions in my life: My 16-year-old daughter (also an animal lover!), teaching & of course, animals! I have years of experience with diabetic cats & can administer insulin shots if needed. In-home boarding OK! My schedule can be flexible. I teach online at night as I am no longer in the classroom due to COVID. Looking forward to hearing from you!
