About Clay

Hello! My name is Clay, and I'm a biotech entrepreneur with a strong background in STEM education, biotechnology, and hands-on scientific research. As a parent of 4 children ranging from ages 5-11, I understand that every child learns differently and at their own pace. I'm extremely patient, supportive, and comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum or students needing individualized learning approaches. My tutoring style focuses on building independent learners by strengthening critical thinking, research skills, and confidence -- not just memorization. I enjoy helping students understand concepts in science, math, reading, and technology in a calm, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.
