About Claudia

We hired Claudia after confirming with her references as well as feeling comfortable during our interview. We came to an agreement and prepared the contract and sent it off to her without delay. Fast forward 5 days prior to the job officially starting, we attempted to contact Claudia via every communication method possible to align on coming a few days prior to do some training, etc. Between myself and my husband, we attempted to contact her at least 12 times, always being very respectful with our messages in case something had truthfully gone wrong. No responses were received and as the days carried on without any info, we had to scramble to find alternative care due to our demanding full time jobs. 2 days before the job was supposed to begin, we received an extremely cryptic email from Claudia that detailed a story unlike anything we have ever seen before. The amount of excuses and lack of common courtesy knowing we were relying on her fully for our daughter’s care was mind boggling (SIM card on her phone was being taken away to get it fixed, phone was taken away by her family, etc.). Our hunch is that she found another position paying more money in between her agreeing to accept our role and the job officially starting and was waiting on all of that to be verified prior to sending us the outlandish message. Her references are clearly unaware of the true type of individual that would leave a family in the lurch days before nanny care was supposed to begin. This was an extremely regrettable, stressful, and painful ordeal all due to her conduct.
