I am a conscientious, kind-hearted and friendly person. Working with animals is second nature. I've always had pets. Looking for a job that allows me to responsibly care for a pet(s), adhering to owners instructions. Bond with them and care for them as if my own. I began caring for a neighbor's dog while away. This became a regular occurrence. Other neighbors began to request my services. I have done this over 20 years. I am retired now. When working I had to be more selective making sure each pet got adequate attention. In my spare time, I like to swim, play tennis and travel. I am a very responsible person. Reliable and trustworthy. Being older I have learned to take time to enjoy life. Skills include making sure that the pet is well and responding appropriately. Make them comfortable with me and form a bond. Provide them with everything they need; not only food and water, but exercise, playful activities and lots of cuddling ( if that is in the pet's nature).
