About Clara

Hi! Engaged and creative are the best ways to describe me as a tutor. I am a graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland with a B. A. in anthropology and the University of Maryland with a Master of Public Health, currently on break while I pursue other academic work. I am seeking a part-time/ full-time tutoring and/ or care opportunity. I have experience with newborns all the way up to 15 years old. I prefer to care for up to three children at a time. I love doing activities that engage a child's imagination at any age; crafts, arts, theater, dancing, stories, and games. I have aided in the design of math and science learning programs for preteens as well as tailored homeschool lessons. Learning is fun, intriguing, and active; that is what I bring with me always when working with children. I look forward to hearing from you!
