Clara has been taking care of our newborn at night since we came home from the hospital, and we’ve had a very positive experience with her. She has been punctual, respectful, and very mindful of our home and our routines. She is gentle with our baby and always speaks to him softly. She has also been very good about following our instructions, even as they have changed several times based on our pediatrician’s recommendations to help our baby gain weight. Clara is comfortable with all the newborn basics—feeding, burping, diaper changes, dressing him, and getting him back to sleep—and she also washes the bottles after feedings. One thing we especially appreciate is how quiet she is throughout the night, which has allowed us to actually sleep while she is here. That has been a true blessing during these first days at home. We’ve really appreciated having Clara’s help during this transition and have felt comfortable having our newborn in her care.
