About Clara

Hi there, my name is Clara and I'm an energetic and creative 22-year-old! I am a recent college graduate, I fell into childcare six years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group is 5-10 years, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a full time position, with a minimum of a six month commitment, and my rates start at $25/hour for one child. I have worked for 3 families, one for two years, and the others for 8 months each. I speak English and Swedish fluently, and am proficient in Spanish. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine focused, and creative space to learn and grow. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook new recipes, read, and play card games with my friends.
