About Clara

Hi, I'm Clara!! I grew up on a boarding school campus and was the go-to babysitter for faculty families since I was 13 years old. I have experience sitting children from a few months old to elementary school age. I have always loved working with kids and studied Early Childhood Education for three semesters at UMA. Although I switched to an English degree, my early childhood development courses have made me very passionate about the impact of active play on children's social development. I love to direct play outside, plan crafts, and go with the flow! I am on Winter break from UMass from December 17th - February 1st and am looking for a family that could use some extra help with the chaos of the holidays! I am located in Hamden but am willing to drive up to 25 minutes to your home. I have my hours listed as 8am-11:45 p.m. in the Care. com app but I am definitely flexible!
