About Claire

Hi there! I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin -Madison, College of Engineering, majoring in civil and environmental engineering with minors in sustainability and global health. I have three years of experience working as an outdoor camp counselor at the YMCA Camp Daycroix. I especially enjoyed the specialty camps, which included sailing, fishing, arts and crafts, and garden! I also volunteered for two years as an adaptive ski instructor for the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's adaptive ski program. I have undergone extensive training for both of these positions and currently have certificates in CPR, First Aid, and waterfront management. This past year I participated as a volunteer director for a food justice org. on the UW campus, called Slow Food UW, which offered clean, organic, locally grown meals to the Madison community. I am looking for a summer nanny position that allows me to share my passions for nature, outdoor activities, and art!
