I am currently looking for part-time work in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. (Morning work preferably in Bushwick, Bedstuy, or Ridgewood) Hi there! I am a former preschool teacher with 7 years of childcare experience under my belt. Before moving into early childhood education I babysat and nannied for various NYC families. I am an actor by training and while at school I helped develop the first-ever Theater for the Very Young Program. Is a type of theater devised for children under 5 years of age. Although these shows may sometimes look simple and more like structured play than, well, a play, everything is based on child education and child development research. I also have years of experience caring for special needs children in the classroom, in the pool, and on the stage! In high school, I led a service group that acted as aides to a special needs class, and once a week would even join them for their swimming lessons.
