~Not currently looking for employment~ I graduated from the U of O with a B. A. in Education and a minor in Special Ed. There, I also obtained my Master's in Elementary Teaching. After receiving my teaching license, I worked as a substitute teacher at Moss Street Children's Center on campus, filling in for lead teachers in various classrooms for children from infants to 5 years old. My responsibilities included assisting with daily routines, maintaining a safe environment, and providing care and guidance to the children. My education and experience have shaped my approach to working with children, and I am particularly drawn to the Montessori and Waldorf methods, emphasizing the child's natural abilities and learning through play. For the last 6 months, I have been caring for an infant who was 6 months old when I began. Additionally, I have been involved in a nanny share arrangement with a neighbor's child a few times a week.
