About Claire

Mathematics is my speciality, but I've taken a huge variety of classes in college and a dozen AP classes in high school, scoring very well on the SAT. I've tutored from elementary all the way to seniors in college. In addition I've also worked with young children with learning disabilities, and understand the patience and care required for their growing minds. I'd describe my personality as determined, bubbly and empathetic. I like tutoring because I've struggled with understanding teachers/professors before and hate feeling lost or feel like I'm the only one struggling. I find satisfaction in helping others get past these hurdles and simplifying complex materials. I started tutoring when I was in high school. My first tutoring job was for a middle schooler in pre-algebra. I'm a student athlete at Indiana University Bloomington and education has always come first for me. My passion for running allows me to have an outlet outside of my studies.
