About Claire

Hi there, I'm Claire! I am currently a nursing student at MSU; in 2017, I received my CNA to begin my role in caretaking at a professional level. I am experienced in cooking and cleaning to the clients request, as well as planning meals to accommodate dietary needs. Additionally, I have experience in personal hygiene and grooming, toileting, and showering. For the last two years I have worked as a dental assistant but I am ready to get back into caretaking to coincide with my nursing education. It is important to me to encourage independence in my clients, though I will do what is necessary to increase/maintain quality of life. I also believe it's important to engage the mind; this may include activities such as card games, listening to music, or simply having a nice conversation. I am experienced in running errands and/or accompanying clients to appointments, the grocery store, bank, etc. I have a clean driving record and a safe car (2014 Honda CRV).
