About Claire

I'm an Austin native and currently in my sophomore year at UT studying communications. I love working with kids because they have a perspective on the world like none other and are way better at teaching grown-ups things than we give them credit for. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to connect with kids and their family and experience the gratification that comes from watching kids learn and grow. I started working with kids by babysitting in high school. Summer of 2025 I worked as a nanny to a 3-year-old girl and this past summer I worked as a camp counselor, mostly caring for middle school girls. In my spare time, I like to craft-- I embroider, sew, and scrapbook. I also enjoy reading and hiking. My skills include creativity in coming up with fun and engaging activities, empathy and support in working through big feelings, and communication with both kids and parents.
