About Claire

Hello, my name is Claire, and I am currently a student at UVA. I am pursing a degree in neuroscience. This summer, I would love to be a nanny for one or two children, ideally elementary school age and up. I am a responsible, dependable, patient, and caring person. Beginning in middle school at St. Bridgets, I volunteered for four years in a program called Buddy Break to provide respite care for children with special needs. In high school at Maggie Walker Governor's School, I tutored elementary aged children as well as my peers in math and science. I was also a summer Peer Camper volunteer at Voices Together, a camp for children on the autism spectrum at the JCC. I have also been a sitter for younger cousins through the years. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities, board games, visiting museums, swimming, playing, learning, reading and being creative. I would love to be part of a safe and fun-filled summer with your children, organizing engaging actives and making memories!
