I love exploring Charleston and taking my kids on field trips. There are so many fun things to see and do here. I believe in student-led learning. As an educator (and lifelong learner) at every grade level over the past 16 years I've seen firsthand the benefits of letting the student decide the pace and depth for our time together. So when I'm working with your person you can expect patience, kindness, empathy, and the freedom to explore individual interests. Some days will be safety net days. We'll stay home and find wholesome ways to soothe. We may bake or paint on those days. (I have a decade of food allergy prep experience so rest assured that I can whip something up no matter what the dietary restrictions may be.) At all times my focus will be on creating a safe place for your person to communicate their needs so that I can accommodate them.
