About Cindy

Hi, my name is Cindy. Throughout my undergraduate experience, I worked for the Long Beach Unified School District as a college aide teaching various elementary and middle school children around the Long Beach area. I continue to tutor and teach various children in the Los Angeles area. For the past few years, I've also worked as a nanny for families around the Silver Lake area, babysitting children of all ages in addition to teaching them Mandarin. I am a recent college graduate with a major in sports/exercise science and am CPR and first aid certified. In addition, I've been working at a dance studio since 2013, teaching young children between the ages of 4 to 14 the fundamentals of dance. I am currently taking a year off before going back to school to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Columbia University in New York City with a specialty in Pediatrics. Since I am interested in Pediatrics, I have been volunteering for the past few years in various inclusive play setting.
